Happy Birthday to ME!!!

Last friday was my 20th birthday... and garrett did a perfect job at making my birthday one to remember! He planned a surprise weekend getaway to park city! we left on friday morning and when we got to park city we saw NEW MOON!!! it was SO GOOD! he is such a good hubby to take me to because i know he isn't too into those kind of movies! After new moon we checked into our hotel at the Westgate Resort in the Canyons. It was such a nice hotel! Our room had a kitchen, 2 big tvs and a steam room in the shower :) Gar took me to Park City Pizza Co. for dinner and then we went back to the hotel and got into the hot tub!!! On saturday we did A TON of christmas shopping! we are pretty much done christmas shopping! we spent a little too much money but it feels good knowing that we are done!!! Saturday night we went hot tubbing again and watched some movies! Sunday we went for a drive and then drove home through provo canyon. i had an amazing birthday! i have the best hubby in the world and want to thank him for being so amazing!

I have been really bad at blogging lately. Gar and i have been so busy, and it is going to get worse when we both start going back to school next semester. All we have been doing lately is WORKING!!! i have to admit that i love my job but working full time every day can get old really fast! I just got promoted to head assistant and a good raise comes with it so that is a plus! I thought i would post some pics of our little puppy coop... i know we are lame but he really is our baby! Also, im putting up some pics of our house... except for our room.

He decided to climb in our laundry basket and take a nap! my mom bought him a sweater for halloween that says "lil devil" coopers first time seeing snow! our happy family! living/family room bathroom havn't done much with this room yet! kitchen

We love our little house and we are so blessed to be living in such a nice place!

Sick as a Dog!!!

So for the past few weeks i havn't been feeling that great and i kept getting major headaches. over the weekend it has been getting worse ans worse. my throat hurts, my head hurts, my ears hurt and i have a terrible cough. last night i was so sick so i called my boss telling him i cant come to work because i am going to the doctor (today.) he says thats fine and tells me one of the other assistants has swine flu! yuck! so i went to the doctor today and i have a sinus infection!!! and to top it off i cant go back to work until wednesday!!! I am glad i have such a great boss who understands that i need some rest! also, my wonderful hubby has been a great nurse. he goes to the store and gets me medicine and rubs my back! I am still feeling pretty crappy but hopefully i will get feeling better soon with my meds!

our first month of marriage!

So garrett and i have been married for one month today! time flies when you are having fun... and busy as heck! as most of you know we went on our honeymoon to oahu, hawaii. we had so much fun. we got the opportunity to go to the polynesian culteral center, the temple, pearl harbor and the north shore. we also went on a submarine ride and it was fun but i got so sick! i had a barf bag with me and everything! it was such a nice vacation and i am so glad we got to go somewhere so pretty! here are a few pics of places that we got to visit!
Lately both of us have been super busy with work. we both decided to take the semester off of school and start back up in the spring. we decided we needed some time to get used to our already busy lives and have a little bit of fun! garrett is loving his job at e g &g and i am liking my job as a dental assistant at grantsville family dental. last weekend we got a new addition to our family!!! a yellow lab puppy! his name is cooper and he is the cutest thing ever! we both love him and treat him like our little baby!As you can see we have been very busy and have our hands full with our new little baby! lol. for labor day weekend we are going up to st. george for the elfors family reunion! we are really excited and so thankful that his grandma plans fun reunions!

the honeymoon is over!

hey everyone we got back from hawaii last friday and our wedding was AMAZING! everything was perfect. thanks to all of you who helped make our special day amazing. we have been super busy the last week with work. i started a new job at a dental office in grantsville and i am loving it, however, i have been working about 9 to 10 hours a day so i have been super busy! my laptop is broken so i cant post any pictures of our wedding or hawaii. i should be getting it back in a few days so i will post more soon!

2 MORE DAYS!!!

so i have been super busy the last few weeks! it has been so stressful and so exciting. i dont have a lot of time so im gonna try to make this short and sweet. saturday garrett and i went through the salt lake temple and took our endowments out... all i can say is it was AMAZING! my last day of work was on monday... its a little bittersweet because i liked the girls but i am starting a new job on august tenth and i will be getting a lot of hours. i guess i shouldnt say its a "new" job because it is the dentist i used to work for before i moved to orem... he is the nicest guy ever! we are getting married the DAY AFTER TOMORROW! so we have been trying to get all this wedding stuff done! i am thankful i have such an amazing man in my life and i cant be sealed to him for eternity! on saturday we are off to hawaii for a week! ahhh cant wait!

So exciting, yet so stressful!

So we have two more weeks until the big day! I want it to be here so bad! Things have been stressful lately. We have been so stressed with getting the house done... However its almost there! We got carpet in it yesterday and garrett started on the hardwood floor! I started moving a few things in last night and Monday we are going to try to move a lot more in.

Work has been kinda hard lately because i don't want to be there. It's not like its bad or anything... i just have a lot of other stuff i have to worry about doing. It seems like nothing ever ends! I have been getting really bad headaches every day to where i feel like i cant see or stand. everyone says its because i am stressed. I am so ready to be married already!!!

School has been stressing me out a ton also. the plan was to take anatomy this fall at SLCC but i got accepted as a non-resident??? (i have lived in utah my whole life) so i have been trying to figure all that out. i had to send my life story about what i have been doing the past 3 years in utah. By the time i get that figured out and by the time i get my transcripts to process the class might be full. i wanna go to school and everything but i have other things to worry about right now. i will still be working (probably switching to another dental office ) but i am looking forward to spending a little time having fun with gar.

My BFF Kelli threw me a bachelorette party on saturday. All the girls had a lot of fun catching up and playing games! I am so glad we are going to be in hawaii in like 2 weeks! I NEED A VACATION BAD!!!
