HONEYMOON!!!

so garrett finally booked our honeymoon to oahu, hawaii! we leave on august 1st and will be gone for 6 days! i am SOOO excited! we were going to go on a cruise to mexico but we dont want to risk not getting passports in time. i have been kinda bugging him lately and telling him he needs to hurry and book it so i feel bad because i know he has been stressed about it. he is always trying to make me happy... and he does a great job! i think it will be really fun for us to go there because we probably won't get the chance to go there again for a long time. i have been to muai and kauai but not oahu. i am excited to finally share a vacation with him... just the two of us! here is a pic of our resort that we are staying at!

All About the Love of My Life!

Garrett left to go camping with his family today and i have been pretty bummed that i couldn't go with them because of work. I am already missing him. He is such an amazing guy! His love for me and his family continues to amaze me each day! I couldn't ask for a better man to share my life with! He is always trying to make me happy no matter what... and he does a great job because i am the happiest girl in the whole world! I am so greatful that we have the gospel in our lives and it feels so great to know we will be sealed together for eternity! He is the most amazing person i know and i couldn't even imagine my life without him. July 31, 2009 will be the greatest day of my life! I can't wait! Love you sweety!

starting the summer off right!

basically we have been pretty darn busy lately! we have been having a lot of fun and it's been so nice living in good old tooele county again! last week we spent a lot of time working on the house. we stained a whole set of cabinets. i am excited for the house to be done because it's going to be pretty nice. last week we also bought an entertainment center, couches and tables. i LOVE them! we got pretty good deals because of memorial day sales. We have been hanging out with our besties a lot also (Nick and Kelli.) They are pretty much exactly like us in every way. i swear garrett and nick are long loss twins or something. and of course me and kelli get along. we shop while they hunt ;) haha. Nick and Garrett work together and Kelli and i work together so it's a lot of fun! I started my job yesterday. I am working at a dental office in Tooele and i love it so far. it feels really good to be assisting again. Garrett informed me that he bought a new chevy duramax truck today! I am excited for him. he has been wanting one forever! we test drove it on monday and it's pretty dang nice! thats about all thats been going on. we feel so lucky to be on our toes and have such great jobs and lives!

A Few Wedding Updates!

Hey everyone!!! we just wanted to let you guys know a few wedding details since we havn't been sharing a whole lot. Our sealing time for the temple is 9:20 on July 31!!! we are so excited... it's going to be such an amazing experience! I am FINALLY picking up my dress this weekend! it seems like it has taken forever for alterations and all of that stuff. We got SOOO much stuff done today. First i should start off by saying we are going to live in a house behing his grandparents house in Tooele that they own. We debated between getting a house or just living there... we decided living there would be the best for a while. it's going to be a lot cheaper. Garrett really needs/wants a new truck so we need to start taking care of that. Plus we also have some furniture and stuff we need to get. The house we are living in is going to be really nice. We are in the process of remodeling it right now so it will be brand new inside when we are finished. Garretts grandparents are the sweetest people and we are so thankful that they are letting us stay there! We worked on that today... garrett finished mudding while i wiped down walls. We are going to paint next week. We also went and looked at flowers today for the wedding. Our colors are pink, orange and green so we decided on pink roses, orange lilies and these little green flowers (i forgot what they are called.) Renee (garretts cousin) is making my cake! i am so excited! she does an amazing job. here is a pic of what i want my cake to look like. We also went through a TON of pictures today for our video. i love when we have productive days! it feels so good. Anyways i just thought i would let you guys know what has been going on! new to blogging.

im not really sure how all of this blogging stuff works but i guess i will give it a try... i have been pretty busy in the last month with finals and planning a wedding. finals went okay, i am mostly just happy to be done and have a break. i am really happy to be home with my friends and family. moving back from orem was one of the happiest days of my life! haha. last weekend i went camping with garrett and his family to boulder mountain. we went four wheeling, hiking and fishing. the boys went turkey hunting and the girls did everything... from lighting a campfire with one match (no gas) to making a dutch oven dinner for the boys. we had a blast! yesterday garrett and i took our engagement pictures. garrett wasn't very thrilled that we had to be at the great salt lake at 6am waiting for the sun to come up! we also took some that night at memory grove in salt lake. i had never been there before and it was beautiful! we took over 800 pictures! i am excited to see how they turn out! i start my new job in june as a dental assistant. the job is just temporary for now but it could lead to something more. well hopefully this is how you blog! haha ;)
