Be Mine, Valentine!
This year for valentines day we went into Salt Lake and went shopping at the mall and cabelas. we both got some fun stuff that we had been wanting. We got our tax return back on friday so it worked out perfectly! I got some clothes and makeup from sephora and Garrett got some hunting gear from cabelas. We also had to get our baby something. We got him a new HUGE bed from Cabelas because he is always trying to sleep on our bed, even though we won't let him! After the mall we went to Market Street Grill and had yummy prime rib! Then we went and saw Just Go With It. It was pretty funny, a little bit naughty though. When we got home we got Coops new bed out and HE HATES IT!!! He is so scared of it because it makes noise when you touch it because its so poofy. The last few nights he has slept anywhere but that bed! Garrett put him on it the other day and was holding him on it and poor Coop was shaking!!! He is scared of anything that makes noise... the vacuum, the blow dryer, our electric toothbrushes, you name it! Oh yeah, and he is deathly afraid of WATER!!! He is a lab! Anytime you say bath he books it out of the room. It is fun to tease him! On Sunday we went to church and after took a 3 hour nap together! We never have time for naps so it felt so good. This morning before work i left Garrett a ton of chocolate and a card... Garrett is obsessed with chocolate. When i came home for lunch there were a dozen roses on the table with a card that said "You are the best wifey ever and i love you tons!" Cute! I am not one of those people who thinks valentines day is dumb. Being in love is the best feeling in the world and i love that there is a day where we can stop our busy lives and celebrate. This was Garrett and I's 6th valentines day together! Our first valentines day, we were too young to go on our own date so we ordered chinese food and watched A Walk To Remember at my mom's house! Funny! I love my hubby and every year just gets better and better!
